Background and Bio : Once upon a time, a busy design and development agency needed to track its employee's time. There were many solutions available.
Unfortunately, they all sucked.
What we need, thought one freshly-caffienated exec, is something dead simple but still powerful. We need...
- something intuitive, so people will actually track their time
- something to keep up with chaotic work schedules, impromptu phone calls and overlapping projects
- something with easy, flexible reporting for anything imaginable
Thinking "How hard could it be?" the company set out to build their dream application, and spent over a year listening to how other companies wanted to track their time. Transcena tweaked, polished, and refined OfficeTime until it had the healthy glow of software that's been used and loved a thousand times over. They continue to refine OfficeTime with regular, free updates containing dozens of user-suggested improvements.
Transcena Design Inc. is a 17-year old web and application developer with a zest for clean design and usable interfaces.
